PRIMICERI SPA has always been at the forefront in developing and adopting best practices for environmental sustainability and circularity!
Since November last year, PRIMICERI SPA has been involved as a leading manufacturer in the electricity industry, collaborating with researchers from the University of Bari Aldo Moro to measure the level of circularity achieved based on the very recent technical specification UNI/TS 11820.
The results, published in the scientific journal ‘Journal of Cleaner Production’, represent one of the first instances of applying this new technique. By assessing various aspects of corporate life, from purchasing to waste management, including the production of renewable energy, the findings reaffirm the company’s dedication and commitment to achieving community objectives regarding circularity. Every calculated indicator highlights the company’s performance and areas for improvement upon which to act. As a result, we are better equipped for upcoming international engagements concerning the ISO 59000 series standards.
